I’m Norelle and this is my story. Growing up, I danced competitively which meant I would eat, sleep, and breathe dance. I even went on to dance professionally for a short time before an unfortunate back injury. I went on to teach recreational and competitive dance for all ages once I was no longer able to dance. During this time, I found myself in the modeling industry working many photoshoots, TV shows, and fashion shows in Nevada, California, and New York. It wasn’t until one very unique modeling job for a photography college class that I realized my love for photography. Listening to someone explain the ins and outs of photography for three hours sealed the deal. I went on to study hundreds of hours in photography, purchase my first camera, and conduct my first dance photoshoot by the age of 16. The rest is history.
I now eat, sleep, and breathe dance photography and I couldn’t imagine life any other way. My passion for dance is what helps my images stand out and tell a story. I strive to bring out the best in every artist I work with no matter their age or ability level. I tailor each photoshoot to help the dancer truly shine in the final images produced. It is my job as a photographer to not only deliver beautiful photos, but also a positive experience. Oh, and if you’re wondering who that man is below…. that’s my #1 supporter my husband. He’s in the military so we don’t see each other much, but I promise he does exist! I have been blessed to work as a dance photographer for over 5 years now and I hope to continue this journey for many more years to come.
